A story about Parental Depression
About The Author
Beautifully written. There should be many more children’s books on this subject.
Loved this story!. Beautiful illustrations and melodic narrative. One of those stories that needs to be in every home, public library and book corner. As a teacher, Senco and now a Mum of 2 (aged 3 and 5 years), I would definitely recommend this story for every home, book corner and library. It addresses the very real and complex issue of depression (and general sadness) in a way that my own children could understand and interpret in the context of their own experience. A much needed resource, particularly for our more vulnerable little people. A great find!
What a beautiful book. It is written in a really clear, simple way that my children instantly ‘got’, the illustrations are great too. Fantastic for any child to help them understand why someone may be feeling sad and to help to reassure them that they are not to blame. Love it!
